Compromise is not an option when lives and safety are on the line, and the 5.11 Tactical 5-in-1 Jacket 2.0 in Black is the professional-grade modular duty jacket for law enforcement officers, emergency responders, security professionals, and duty operators. Re-engineered from the original 5-in-1, the 2.0 version is 8% lighter and much more flexible thanks to mechanical stretch across the outer shell. Constructed from 5.2 oz 100% polyester hardshell in a 2L plain weave with DWR finish and Blood Borne Pathogen resistance, the outer shell delivers a 10K/10K waterproof and breathable rating with fully seam-sealed construction - certified to EN 343:2019 Class 4-3-X.

The five configurations deliver total weather versatility from one system: wear the outer shell alone, wear the inner fleece jacket alone, wear the inner fleece as a vest (sleeves zip off), wear the outer shell with just the inner vest zipped in, or wear the full outer-plus-inner combination. The removable inner jacket is constructed from 10.3 oz 100% polyester tech fleece with anti-pilling treatment and 3.7 oz nylon 6 water-resistant overlays. Zip-off sleeves and a side zipper on the inner liner deliver even more configuration flexibility than a standard zip-in liner.

Built around duty response, the outer shell features a two-way centre-front zipper with external and internal storm flaps and chin guard, a rollaway hood that stores in the collar (or detaches and stashes in the back pocket), mic loops, and an included camera loop kit. Left and right chest ReadyPockets™ store phone, sunglasses, or magazines. The Quixip® system at the side seams provides rapid firearm access and enhanced ventilation. Articulated sleeves with adjustable cuffs deliver mobility and a locked-in fit, while an adjustable hem uses a front internal shock cord system paired with tunnelled elastic across the back for a customised seal against drafts. Document pockets appear on both the outer shell and inner jacket - critical for admin work across configurations.
