After receiving feedback from tactical operators who know what it takes to perform in the field, 5.11 released its tactically advanced Ripstop TDU pants. Made from a lightweight poly/cotton ripstop fabric, these pants can withstand extreme conditions and deliver comfort that lasts all day. The tunnel waistband adjusts as you move, ensuring a secure fit at all times. Double thick seat, triple-stitching and bar-tacks in high-stress areas provide additional reinforcement, while a Teflon treatment makes the pants soil, liquid and stain-resistant. Deep cargo pockets, rear pockets and pockets for backup magazines let you stow essential gear securely. The pants are also compatible with a Back-up Belt System.

Durable Materials

5.11 pants use two core fabric platforms plus a denim variant.

Flex-Tac ripstop powers the Stryke. Poly-cotton with mechanical stretch and a DWR finish for stain and water resistance.

Flex-Tac stretch canvas on the Apex and Ridge. Same fabric family, different weights. 7.2oz on the Apex for heavier duty use, 6.4oz on the Ridge for a lighter covert build.

FlexLite ripstop on the ABR Pro. The lightest of the range at 5.6oz, still reinforced at the seat and knees for hard use.

Flex-Tac denim on the Defender-Flex Jean. Jean cut with tactical toughness.

Every pair uses YKK zippers, bar-tack reinforcement at stress points, and reinforced melamine buttons.
