Description

The Merrell MOAB 3 Tactical Mid brings the legendary comfort of the original Moab hiker to professional duty. Featuring a waterproof full-grain leather and mesh upper, this boot seals out water while allowing moisture to escape. Designed for long shifts, it combines a COMFORTBASE™ contoured footbed and Merrell's Air Cushion heel for stability, all riding on a Vibram® TC5+ outsole for superior traction on rugged terrain.

Quick delivery - previously owned a pair of Black older model moab tactical 10.5US. Sizing overlapped well in these new boots.

Ordered the Coyote version this time. Straight out of the box they looked a bit shiny/bright - but after a couple of walks collecting some dust and mud they’ve turned a bit darker. Which I prefer so not a worry at all.

Tested waterproofing walking through a low creek and held perfectly dry feet.

Satisfied with these again

My shoe size is 10us wide, I went up to a 10.5us, perfect!
I have tried 11us, a bit sloppy but with thicker socks would be OK.
After getting the shine off the sole, takes a few days of walking, we went for a walk on some exposed reefs at Point Lonsdale lighthouse, Victoria, Australia. The reefs were covered in kelp bubbles which is similar to walking on slick ice, well it was for my brother wearing runners, but I walked on by just like walking on grass, very supportive, even in mids and super non slip. Guess what my brother just bought?
