I know the 5.11 Tactical Stryke Pants have been around for a while however, after four years of use I felt compelled to write this post.
I have put these pants through quite a few different tests and it has held up to all of them. They have been through mud, water, gravel, bush, rain, extreme heat, dirt, saltwater and haven't been able to fault them. From hunting, hiking, range day, running obstacle course races and even a couple of rounds of golf, the 5.11 Stryke Pants have stood the test, remained in tact and the most important factor - haven't faded!
I have used these pants during hunting trips more than any other task and will not go into the bush without them. The mechanical stretch are great for climbing, getting onto the quad/two wheeler or jumping on to the back of the ute. If you ever find yourself crossing a river they are easy to roll up and if they get wet are quick to dry. The cargo pockets have been designed to be easier to access as opposed to the standard, next to the knee cargo pockets - when I am on a long range hunt I carry nutrition bars and first aid in these pockets with plenty of room remaining. The design is very functional and you will find yourself not having to bend over as much to put your hand in and grab something. The gusseted crotch is great and I've never heard of this ripping (which was the case with many other 'Tactical' pants). Soil and stains literally fall of the Stryke Pants!

To conclude - I have two pairs of 5.11 Tactical Stryke Pants for hunting (which have been through some pretty severe weather and condition) that have not faded, ripped or been too hard to clean.
At just under $100 the 5.11 Tactical Stryke Pants are a bargain for the amount of wear you will get from them. The 5.11 Tactical Stryke Pants also come in a female cut.
We recommend grabbing a size down when purchasing Stryke Pants for the first time. Due to the mechanical stretch and self adjusting tunnel waistband your normal size may be a little loose. The pants are available in 6 colours.
