Which Carabiner Should I Buy?

For keys and light accessories, Nite Ize S-Biner dual carabiners are a simple, low-cost option, and SlideLock designs add a locking slide to help keep the gate closed. The G-Series dual chamber carabiners have two chambers for separate items. For heavier gear and MOLLE or belt attachment, the 5.11 Hardpoint range, from the M1 to the L3 locking carabiner, offers different sizes and closures, and the Nite Ize SlideLock 360 uses a magnetic locking closure. Nite Ize carabiners come in numbered sizes, so check each product page for dimensions. Check load ratings too: unless a carabiner is specifically rated, don’t use it for climbing or life safety.
