5.11 Tactical - Rapid Assault Shirt | Black

Developed in collaboration with military and law enforcement personnel, the 5.11 Tactical Rapid Assault Shirt in Black is a high-performance combat shirt engineered specifically for wear under body armour. The compression-fit body sits flat against the skin in a moisture-wicking 55% cotton / 37% polyester / 8% spandex blend, while the saddle-shoulder construction distributes the weight of plate carriers and chest rigs evenly across the shoulders - no bunching, no pinching, no hot spots through long operations. The solid black colourway delivers a low-profile professional look that integrates seamlessly with tactical kits and specialised duty uniforms.

Durable polyester/cotton ripstop sleeves replace the stretch fabric where abrasion resistance matters - sleeves take the brunt of vehicle work, rope work, and rough terrain, so they're built for it. Reinforced articulated elbows add protection in the prone position, while spacious shoulder pockets hold essential gear within reach without breaking armour line. Strategically placed mesh panels maximise airflow during high-intensity manoeuvres, and the seamless underarm construction with flat-lock seams throughout eliminates the chafe points that destroy comfort over a long shift. The half-zip collar adapts to conditions - zipped up to protect against sling and armour rub at the neck, zipped down for extra ventilation.
