Description
Built to thrive when Mother Nature turns nasty, the 5.11 Tactical Chameleon Softshell Jacket 2.0 is an upgraded waterproof softshell duty jacket for law enforcement officers, security professionals, and duty operators. Constructed from 7.3 oz 100% polyester plain weave with mechanical stretch and a microfleece backer in a 3L softshell (with DWR finish), the Chameleon 2.0 delivers a 5K/2K waterproof and breathable rating - wind and cold stay outside, moisture escapes from the inside, and the shell moves with the body during dynamic duty work.
Built for real duty response, the jacket features removable pull-out ID panels at the left and right chest and upper back - lets you switch from casual appearance to on-duty identification in seconds. A one-way centre-front zipper with internal storm flap and chin guard delivers weather-tight closure and prevents zipper irritation at the neck. Articulated sleeves with tunnelled elastic cuffs and cuff adjustment tabs deliver mobility and a locked-in fit at the wrist. Storage is built around duty use: a left sleeve zipper pocket for admin kit, zippered hand pockets with an internal leash and key clip in the right hand pocket, and an inside pocket with internal organisation for wallet, phone, or documents. An adjustable hem with internal shock cord system seals out drafts, and subtle 5.11 [+] embroidery at the left cuff tab keeps the branding low-key.
